Great place to enjoy the water with your family. We always have a great time at the beach. It always seems clean and the prices are great for a family. There is boating allowed on Prairie Creek Reservoir.
Always packed. Everyone was blasting music and yelling until well after midnight. It's not a great place to bring your kids unless you don't mind them seeing drunken idiots stumbling around threatening everyone they see. We couldn't even stay the whole night because everyone was so loud. It's a college kid/drunken idiot party place. It's cheap though, so there's that. Would be a nice place if they actually had/enforced any rules at all. Very disappointing.
Love this place but i am a bit disappointed, came out at 5:30 to swim at the beach area and were told it closes at 6. Would be nice if the beach area was open a little later to allow people who work full time to come out and enjoy the water as well.
The area around the reservoir has many attractions also like maintain biking, a motor cross track, and great horse trails.
I've been going to the beach since I was a kid and now my kids go here,I love this beach and the reservoir. We also have our pontoon docked out here so this is our getaway. Awesome place for family fun
I love this place! I have since my childhood. The difference now is that I am completely aware of what a money maker Muncie a Politics have made this place. Ever available inch of bank has been covered with pontoon dockss, and the campground has turned into a trailer park for Muncie's rich!
